Local mall to host free outdoor concert

MIAMI TWP — The Dayton Mall is hosting a free, outdoor, family friendly, Beach Party themed concert early next month.

The concert will include live music, food trucks, and beach themed tropical drinks, according to a news release.

The Beach Party concert gates open at 3:30 p.m. on August 7.

The concert will feature a Surf Party for kids at 4 p.m. that will include singing, dancing and interactive events.

Music will start at 5 p.m. and will feature long-time Dayton entertainers The Fries, according to the release.

Proceeds from beer and wine sales will be going to the non-profit organization Fisher-Nightingale House.
