Kings Island delays opening

Kings Island has announced the opening has been delayed. The amusement park now says it will hope to open in mid-May.

Kings Island says the company will work with customers who had pre-paid for tickets.  The company said in a release,

“For 2020 Season Passholders, we will be adding days to the park’s operating calendar to accommodate for the days the park is temporarily closed (against original 2020 operating calendar). Additionally, 2020 Season Passholders will enjoy added-value benefits to be announced at time of park opening.”

The delay is due to the coronavirus pandemic. Opening day had been planned for April 11th
