Firefighters battle house fire on Airway Road in Riverside

RIVERSIDE — Firefighters closed a portion of Airway Road in Riverside while they battled a house fire early Monday morning.

Crews were called around 4:30 a.m. to the 4000 block of Airway Road and reported flames and smoke coming from the house, according to initial reports.

Additional details about the fire were not immediately known.

Crews blocked Airway Road between Dolittle Drive and LaPeere Drive while they were battling the blaze.
