Dozens of people protest outside Gov. DeWine’s Cedarville home with noise makers

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Dozens and dozens of people gathered outside the home of Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine on Monday in the tiny village of Cedarville.

In a Facebook post, organizers wanted people to come out and join for a lighted dance party in front of DeWine’s home.

Organizers told people to bring bullhorns, air horns, pot and pans, trumpets, sirens and cowbells and any other items that would make noise, according to the Facebook post.

According to organizers, this event as to exercise their first amendment rights at the dance protest.

News Center 7 has a crew at the protest who said that there was a lot of noise, dozens and dozens of people and cars going up and down Conley Road near the village of Cedarville.

Our crew on the scene also said that the protesters were not wearing masks and not social-distancing.
