A bailiff at the Clinton County Juvenile Court is under investigation for an incident involving a juvenile defendant, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office has confirmed.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is probing the incident, which happened earlier this month at the county juvenile court building, according to Jill Del Greco, spokeswoman for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.
The investigation was requested by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office, and any potential charges will be reviewed by the state’s special prosecution section, Del Greco said.
The identity of the bailiff who is the subject of the investigation was not released and no criminal charges have been filed.
