Psychologist sentenced for exposing himself to shoppers

A local psychologist was fined $250 Tuesday, and ordered to spend 10 days on house arrest and continue psychological counseling, after pleading no contest to charges stemming from allegations he exposed himself to two shoppers at a Centerville shopping center last year.

Judge Thomas Hanna sentenced Dr. Joshua W. Shuman, 34, of Centerville after Shuman pleaded no contest to two counts of disorderly conduct during a hearing in Kettering Municipal Court.

Shuman was charged with indecent exposure after allegedly exposing himself to women in the parking lot at Cross Point Center in Centerville in March and December 2013, according to reports.
