The sheriff’s office has issued a “wanted person” alert for an 18-year-old Springfield man accused of several felony crimes who is to be considered armed and dangerous.
Adam Demetrius Carmichael Jr., whose last known address is 645 W. Southern Ave., is wanted on multiple warrants on charges of aggravated robbery, abduction and felonious assault, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in a prepared statement issued this evening.
Those charges arise from the armed robbery of a tenant at the Ashton Meadows Apartment complex on Saturday (Dec. 12).
According to the sheriff’s office, Carmichael is a person of interest in an armed robbery of an individual that occurred today, during which he displayed a handgun.
He has been a suspect in a number of thefts, robberies, assaults and an attempted rape. He has two burglary convictions on his record.
Carmichael is 6 foot 3 inches tall, about 200 pounds and in 2013 was sporting several tattoos, including on both forearms (the word “Diamond” on his right) and a cross on his right biceps. He is said to wear white frame glasses as well, according to the sheriff’s office.
