The man accused in the death of Amber Owens, who was found deceased in a ditch along Post Town Road in Trotwood, has been convicted and sentenced.
Dominique Mays, 24, of Dayton, was sentenced to 20 years in prison today.
Mays was convicted of two counts of involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, abduction, two counts of tampering with evidence, one count of gross abuse of a corpse and one count of domestic violence.
Owens’ body was found on Dec. 4, 2014 after she had been missing since Oct. 24, 2014.
