UPDATE @ 2:25 p.m. June 9:
Emily Batz, the 28-year-old jogger killed in Liberty Twp. Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle, died of multiple traumatic injuries, Butler County Coroner Dr. Lisa Mannix ruled today.
The coroner also ruled her death an accident.

A jogger killed Tuesday evening in Liberty Twp. after being struck by a vehicle has been identified as an Albuquerque, N.M., woman
Emily Batz, 28, was struck by a vehicle around 6 p.m. at Millikin and Lesourdsville-West Chester roads, according to Sgt. Melissa Gerhardt of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
Batz was attempting to cross the road and was struck by an eastbound vehicle when she stepped onto the crosswalk, according to the sheriff’s office. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved remained at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and the crash report is not yet complete.
An autopsy has not yet been performed.
