TIPP CITY — Hair salons around the Miami Valley are preparing to open this Friday.
News Center 7′s Adam Marshall spoke with a local salon owner as she made final preparations.
“I’m super excited,” said Hair Barre’s owner Hillary Kihm. "I am definitely ready to get back to work.”
Kihm said she’s taken many steps in addition to her standard cleaning routine.
“In regards to cleaning, even our retail products. Our individual shampoo bottles. All of our shampoo capes, we’ve put into individual bags,” explained Kihm.
While her business has been closed, Kihm has made progress, adding to her team, so she can open bigger and better when they reopen.
“I have never had more calls in one day than I had the day that we received the news that we were reopening.”
