Lebanon’s 32nd Horse Drawn Carriage Parade and Festival canceled for this year

LEBANON — Lebanon’s 32nd Horse Drawn Carriage Parade & Festival has canceled this year’s celebration due to COVID-19 pandemic concerns.

In a statement made on their website, the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce said that the cancelation of the event came as a response to concerns about rising cases of COVID-19 in Warren County and in the region.

“While we are extremely disappointed that we are unable to host this parade, we believe that not doing so will help prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as protect the legacy of the Horse Drawn Carriage Parade & Festival for generations to come," they said.

Earlier this year the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce originally had plans to have the annual parade and festival with alternative plans to have a safe event.

They said that they do have plans to return on December 4, 2021.
