SPRINGFIELD — UPDATE: 12:02 p.m.
Eastbound lanes have reopened.
Traffic was rerouted to the westbound lanes.
UPDATE AT 10:00 a.m.:
ODOT cameras show traffic being rerouted onto state Route 4 from eastbound 70.
The exit sign that was hit has been removed from the overhang, our crew on scene reported.
The condition of the driver is unknown but a Springfield Ohio State Highway patrolman said the driver was walking around but looked a little “banged up.”
FIRST REPORT:
Emergency crews are on scene of a crash involving an Amazon Prime semi-trailer on I-70 eastbound near Old Mill Road in Springfield.

Traffic is at a complete standstill in the area, according to our News Center 7 photographer at the scene.
The driver of the semi hit the exit ramp sign for Exit A and B for Exit 52, according to troopers on scene.
Mad River Township EMS took the driver to Soin Medical Center.
This was the second crash reported in Springfield Saturday morning.
CareFlight was called to a two-vehicle crash on South Limestone Street around 6:30 a.m.
