Child struck by vehicle in Dayton not believed to be seriously injured, police say

DAYTON — A child struck by a vehicle at Wayne and Edgar avenues on Friday evening was not believed to be seriously injured, a Dayton police officer said.

Police were dispatched about 7:13 p.m. on the report of the pedestrian strike.

An officer on scene called for a medic as a precaution.
