QUICK-LOOK FORECAST

  • Frost likely overnight
  • Warming trend for weekend
  • Showers arrive late Easter Sunday

DETAILED FORECAST

Mostly clear skies are expected overnight, with areas of frost likely after 2 a.m., StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

Some patchy fog also is possible late, Elwell said. Temperatures will drop back into the lower 30s by morning.

Saturday: After a frosty start to the day, plenty of sunshine will help warm temperatures back to near 60 degrees by the afternoon as high pressure moves across the area.

Easter: Skies will start out partly cloudy with increasing clouds through the day. Scattered showers will develop by late afternoon into the evening. Despite the increase in clouds, southerly breezes will help push high temperatures to near 70 degrees before the rain arrives.

Monday: Morning showers will give way to clearing skies by late in the day. It will be a bit cooler with highs dropping back into the middle 50s, which is near normal.

Tuesday: Sunny skies return with highs rebounding into the lower 60s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies are expected with gusty southwest winds developing during the afternoon. High temperatures will once again push up to near 70 degrees.
