DETAILED FORECAST

All earlier storm warnings have been cancelled by the National Weather Service and our severe threat is over after a line of strong storms moved through the area.

In Troy, hail was reported of ½-inch to ¾-inch in diameter in addition to wind gusts between 50 and 60 mph, according to a NWS trained weather spotter.

Localized flooding remains a concern in the area with heavy rain still falling, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

A few showers will linger, but all chances for severe weather have ended.

“This rain could lead to some localized flooding and ponding on the roadways, but this is not expected to be a widespread problem” Coller said.

Temperatures will drop into the middle 40s towards daybreak.

Monday: Aside from a stray shower or two early, it looks to be a dry day with decreasing clouds and highs near 50 degrees.

Tuesday: More sunshine is on tap with highs in the middle 50s.

Wednesday: Clouds increase with the chance for rain arriving after midnight. Highs will be in the middle to upper 60s.

Thursday: Showers start the day, which will be wet with highs in the middle 60s.

Friday: A lingering shower is possible, otherwise it will stay dry. Highs will be in the middle 50s.
