February is Black History Month, so WHIO Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs sat down with WHIO Meteorologist Dontae Jones to discuss diversity in the broadcast meteorology industry.

As a black man, Dontae Jones talks about what it was like growing up with a desire to be in the broadcast industry, who he looked up to, and how he hopes to inspire other young girls and boys of all races to reach for thier dreams.

Jones says he’s excited to see more diversity in the industry in the years to come.
