MONTGOMERY COUNTY — UPDATE:
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton says they have successfully found foster homes for all of the farm animals.
INITIAL REPORT:
The Humane Society of Greater Dayton announced on their Facebook page Tuesday that they had seized 4 goats and 2 cows from an unfit property.
“We need your help!” the post reads, asking followers to contact the Humane Society if interested in fostering for the short-term.
The post goes on to explain that the animals were “not being properly cared for.” Our newsroom has reached out, asking for a location of where the animals were seized.
If anyone is interested in fostering any of the farm animals, they should reach out to the shelter manager, at 937-287-4342 or slewis@hsdayton.org.
