Detective Dominic Burnside of Troy police said Leeann Hoffman remains the suspect in this UDF robbery. The case will now be presented to a grand jury and police are seeking a direct indictment against her.
UPDATE @ 10:04 a.m. (Nov. 23)
During a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Miami County Municipal Court, Leeann Hoffman’s case of aggravated robbery was dismissed without prejudice. She is no longer a suspect in this robbery.
We are checking with Troy police on the latest on a suspect.

A 44-year-old woman is in Miami County Jail after allegedly trying to rob a Troy United Dairy Farmers.
Leeann Hoffman, of Troy, was arraigned this morning in Miami County Municipal Court before Magistrate Gary Zuhl on one count of aggravated robbery.
Hoffman faces a maximum of 10 years in prison if convicted. She’s in jail on a cash bond of $50,000.
Hoffman told the magistrate that she is the wrong person and that she didn’t do it. She is due back in court Nov. 22 for a preliminary.
The clerk was on the phone during the alleged robbery attempt, and stayed on the phone and ignored her demands for money. The clerk told her she wasn’t getting any money and to leave the store.
Hoffman, who lives nearby, is a frequent customer of the UDF.
