The owner of Dad’s Carryout said she feared for her life when a 19-year-old Ludlow Falls man robbed her at knifepoint last week.
“It was the scariest time of my life,” said Shelly Browning, who also is a CCW permit holder and wears her gun while she works. “It was a big knife.”
One of two suspects, Isaiah Williams, was arrested by police and appeared in Miami County Municipal Court on charges of robbery.
Williams bond for the robbery charge was set at $50,000, however he will remain in jail on no bond for a separate probation violation charge.
UPDATE @ 10:08 p.m. (Dec. 20)
Police in Troy Tuesday afternoon arrested a Ludow Falls teen on two counts of aggravated robbery in connection with armed robberies last week at Dad’s Carryout and Valero gas station.
Isaiah Williams, 19, was arrested at his home this afternoon. He's in the Miami County Jail.
Police are still looking for a second black male involved in the gas station robbery.
Williams was armed with a knife in both robberies. At Dad's Carryout the store owner pulled her gun and it misfired as she pulled the trigger three times.
UPDATE @ 5:21 p.m. (Dec. 20)
Troy police released surveillance photos of robbery suspects from a crime at Dad’s Carryout last week.
Just before 4 p.m. Dec. 15, the first suspect kept his face covered but was identified by witnesses as a male standing about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and wearing a dark jacket with a white logo on it possibly New York Yankees and ripped jeans.
Around 6:20 p.m., Valero gas station was robbed by the same subject along with an accomplice. The accomplice was described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall.

UPDATE @5 a.m. (Dec. 15)
Police are investigating two robberies that happened in Troy Thursday afternoon.
Dad’s Carry Out on Union Street and the Valero Gas Station on West Market Street were robbed about three hours apart in the same general area of Troy.
Police said one person was involved at the Dad’s Carry Out Robbery, and two people were involved in the Valero robbery.
In both incidents, a suspect was armed with a knife.

A male suspect reportedly robbed Dad’s Carry Out on Union Street in Troy.
The suspect entered the business with a knife and fled on foot after an employee attempted to fire a shot. The suspect was wearing white shoes.
Troy police are seeking witnesses.
