The parent company that owns mall jewelry stores like Kay Jewelers, Zales and Jared The Galleria of Jewelry said it will close about 300 locations by the end of the fiscal year.

Signet Jewelers also operates Piercing Pagodas among its 3,172 stores all over the world, USA Today reported.

The company announced that 150 stores that were closed because of the coronavirus pandemic will remain closed and another 150 locations will close by the end of February, according to USA Today.

Another 80 stores in the UK will also not reopen, Business Insider reported.

More than 1,100 stores have reopened since coronavirus-related restrictions have started coming to an end.

Signet Jewelers has been reducing the number of stores over the past few years, closing about 13% of locations.
