FINDLAY — An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper has been found deceased while on duty at the Findlay Post, OSHP announced Saturday.

Sergeant Jared Ulinski joined OSHP in 1999, according to a Facebook post by OSHP.

On Saturday evening, Gov. Mike DeWine ordered that United States and State of Ohio flags be flown at half-staff at all public buildings and grounds throughout Hancock County, as well as at the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Center and Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus to honor Ulinski’s life and service. The order will be in effect from Friday until that day of Ulinski’s funeral.
