Pleasant Hill gas station target of break-in

UPDATE @ 5:18 a.m.

A person delivering bread at the Sunoco opened up the store and was confronted by a man with a black mask on. The suspect, who had entered through the roof, fled on foot.

It appears the suspect was scared off by the delivery man before he stole anything. A K-9 is out at the scene.

The store was closed at the time.

INITIAL REPORT

Police are checking a reported break-in at a Pleasant Hill gas station.

Shortly before 4 a.m., someone making a delivery to the Sunoco in the 200 block of South Main Street reported someone was inside the store who came in through the ceiling.

The suspect reportedly took off on foot.
