Dispatch records show one person was hurt and taken to Miami Valley Hospital.
The eastbound right lane remained blocked to traffic shortly before 9 a.m.
A black Grand Prix appeared to have significant rear-end damage and a white pickup truck appeared to have some front-end damage.
Police have not released any details about what happened.

Traffic was blocked on Shiloh Springs Road Monday morning after a pedestrian was hit in Trotwood.
The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital after the crash, which was dispatched at 7:28 a.m.
Police cordoned off the area and traffic flow was stopped as officers investigated the scene.
