La Fiesta thief steals cash bag

Troy police are investigating a break-in at La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant.

Officers responded to an alarm at the business on West Main Street near Elm Street around 4:30 a.m.

The front door had been forced open.

They say the suspect’s head and face was covered by a hooded sweatshirt, and the person was also wearing gloves.

The thief took a money bag and fled on foot.

Officers are searching the area for evidence.

No one has been arrested.
