UPDATE @ 4 a.m.:
According to the Kettering office on the scene, the cash register was tipped over and open, but it’s unclear whether any cash was stolen.
FIRST REPORT
Kettering police checked out a business alarm at the Car-X, 1429 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering about 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officers found a window panel in one of the garage doors had been removed and someone got in the building through the opening.
At the time of the call, it was unclear if anything had been taken, although the officer found someone had gone through the company’s office.
We have a crew on the scene and are gathering more information.
