XENIA — An income tax levy looking to impact Xenia Community Schools will be back on the ballot in May.
The school board approved the move Wednesday night, according to the district’s superintendent Gabriel Lofton.
The renewal levy failed by one vote in December after a recount was done.

Lofton previously said the levies provide critical funding for the district as it covers all operating costs.
The .5 percent income tax renewal levy is for 7 years.
It would cost the owner of a $100,000 home a little more than $300 per year.
