WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — If you live in the vicinity of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and heard loud noises this afternoon you are not alone.
Several people contacted our newsroom today after hearing loud booms near the base. As this new organization reported in the story below last week, the loud noises were part of a training exercise.
On Wednesday, te Explosive Ordinance Disposal team was conducting training, which was scheduled to end around noon, according to officials.

The Ohio Air National Guard jets with the 180th Fighter Wing will launch Monday through Thursday this week during the training exercise, according to the Toledo-based unit.
