MIAMISBURG — UPDATE @ 2:30 a.m. (Jan. 9):
A woman called 911 after reportedly being run over by her own car Wednesday night.
She told dispatchers that the car rolled over her leg after she got out of the vehicle to move a trash can she had struck. The door of the vehicle was open and it knocked her over, she said.
She also told the dispatcher she was about to drive to the emergency room for a suspected blood clot when the incident occurred.
“Isn’t this the darndest thing?” She told the dispatcher.

INITIAL REPORT (Jan. 8):
A woman was run over by her own car Wednesday night in Miamisburg.
The woman was trying to move a trash can when the car door struck her and knocked her down.
That’s when one wheel ran over her leg, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
The incident was reported around 8:20 p.m. in the 1800 block of Rosina Drive.
The extent of the woman’s injuries was unknown but a medic was called.
