Woman accused of child sex crimes, including compelling prostitution

DAYTON — A 48-year-old Trotwood woman’s indictment in a child sex case includes prostitution-related charges.

Arethesa Pettit will be arraigned Thursday for six counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and three counts of compelling prostitution (minor for hire), according to a Montgomery County grand jury report released Tuesday.

She is in the Montgomery County Jail, where she has been held since her Aug. 23 arrest.
