With God’s Grace partners with Department of Health, Ace Healthy Products for mobile vaccine clinic

DAYTON — With God’s Grace has partnered with the Ohio Department of Health and Ace Healthy Products to hold a mobile vaccine clinic for underserved communities in Dayton. The mobile clinic was on Drexel Ave. Saturday afternoon.

Anthony Watson, Clinical Director of the Dayton startup, Ace Healthy Products, told News Center 7 the clinic was open for people who may be homeless, without access to a vehicle to get to vaccination sites or those who may have needed assistance with the registration process.

“So we’re actually taking it to them. We’ve got a mobile unit, we have wonderful nurses and volunteers that are able to take time out and get to these people where they are at,” Watson said.

The mobile unit offered the two-dose Moderna vaccine to anyone age 16 or older. Those who received their first vaccination Saturday had the second appointment scheduled with the mobile unit.

Free COVID-19 testing was also available.

The organizations’ next mobile vaccine clinic will be held Wednesday, May 12, and Saturday, May 15.
