WEST CARROLLTON — The West Carrollton community gathered together to celebrate a special occasion for a boy who has finally finished fighting a three and a half year battle with Leukemia.

6-year-old Beckett Richards completed his last cancer treatment Friday, and what better way to celebrate than a parade?
“He’s a superhero and a true warrior,” said dad, Nathan Richards from West Carrollton.
Beckett’s family was overcome with emotion as car after car drove by offering gifts and signs of love.

His father went on to say, “It renews humanity for us. It’s so great to see everyone come out and support us and just you know, the things that these kids have to go through and it’s just a great feeling. Our hearts are full.”
