A part of North Main Street continues to be block off due to a water main break earlier this morning.
The break was reported just before 5 a.m. at the intersection of Macy Street and North Main Street.
The right lane of the northbound traffic is still closed, but all other lanes have been opened.
It has not been reported how many are without water due to the break, but water has been shut off from Shiloh Drive to Carson Avenue, said Brianna Wooten from the Montgomery County Environmental Services office.
Street crews are expected to respond to the water main break later this morning, and repairs normally take anywhere from four to six hours, but could take longer, Wooten said.
Tom Roderer, the owner of Roderer Shoes at 5500 N. Main St. was out trying to clear the water that was above his knees from around the business. The water did not get inside of the store, but flooded the parking lot in several feet of water.
