WATCH: 1 in custody after police execute drug-related search warrant in Moraine

MORAINE — One person was taken into custody after Moraine police executed a drug-related search warrant at a house Thursday morning.

Officers executed the search at the home in the 3100 block of Charlotte Mill Drive around 7 a.m.

Video sent into this newsroom by neighbors show police break down the front door of the house. A child ran out and was taken to safety before a man came out and surrendered.

The search came after multiple neighbors complained of suspected drug activity at the house, according to Moraine police.

A man was detained at the scene and placed in the back of a police cruiser. His identity was not immediately available.

Officers said drugs were recovered during the search of the house.
