Waste and recycling collection delayed 1 day in Dayton area due to Labor Day

DAYTON — Waste and recycling collection for Dayton area residents will be delayed by one day the week of September 5, according to the City of Dayton’s Facebook page.

This is due to the Labor Day holiday.

Collection will be delayed by one day all week in Dayton, the city said.

Pick-up will occur on Saturday, September 10, in Moraine.

Jefferson Township residents will also have their collections delayed by one day, with bulk and recycling collection on September 10, according to the city.

All residents are asked to have their bins out by 6:30 a.m. on collection day.

Trash pickup will also be delayed by one day in both Harrison Township and the City of Trotwood due to both announced on their official Facebook pages on Labor Day.

The City of Kettering announced on its Facebook page that Rumpke’s trash collection service would be delayed by one day throughout the week.
