PIQUA — Two are in custody after Miami County Sheriff’s detectives executed a search warrant July 27 in Piqua that resulted in the seizure of multiple drugs and approximately $5,000 in cash, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Damonte M. Pinkney, 30, of Los Angeles, and Jenna L. LeMaster, 26, of Piqua, were taken into custody and booked into the Miami County Jail.
Detectives seized 8 pounds of marijuana, 10 ounces of cocaine, suspected Ecstasy pills and cash while searching a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze and 1717 DuBois Drive apartment in Piqua, according to the release.
Drug packaging materials and paraphernalia, digital scales and a loaded revolver were among other items seized during the search.
LeMaster and Pinkney were charged with first-degree felony drug trafficking in narcotics, according to the release.
Additional charges may be filed.
