RANDOLPH COUNTY, Indiana — A Troy man was identified as the victim killed in a single-vehicle crash near Union City in Indiana Thursday morning, according to the Indiana State Police.
Bruce N. Lachey II, 70, was pronounced dead after the crash on state Route 32 around 8:45 a.m. Thursday, an ISP spokesperson said in a media release.
A preliminary investigation found Lachey lost control of his car while driving into a curve, state troopers said. The car overturned several times and threw Lachey from the car. State troopers believe Lachey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Additional details were not released.
