1 treated, cited following accident on SR 49 in Darke County

One person was treated and cited after a crash Tuesday morning around 9 a.m. on state Route 49, north of state Route 47, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

A 2008 Honda, driven by Cody Kemmerling, 29, or Portland, Indiana, was traveling south on SR 49 when he lost control of his vehicle, went of the road and struck a pole.

Kemmerling was treated at the scene and cited for failure to maintain reasonable control of his motor vehicle.

Darke County Sheriff’s deputies along with Ansonia Fire Department and Ansonia Rescue Squad all responded to the incident.
