Training exercise to close Air Force Museum this week

W.P.A.F.B. — People living near Wright Patterson Air Force Base (W.P.A.F.B.) may hear and even see more traffic this week.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Base will conduct training exercises on Tuesday involving emergency vehicles and alert sirens, a WPAFB spokesperson said.

The training will temporarily block roads.

The base also has asked people not to call 911.

Emergency response agencies and nearby dispatch centers have also been notified, according to the spokesperson.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force will be closed Tuesday for the exercise.

It will reopen on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 9 a.m.
