BEAVERCREEK — The city of Beavercreek is trying to figure out how the traffic lights and pole holding them ended up in the middle of a busy street Wednesday morning.
“Drivers may notice a traffic signal at Dayton-Xenia Road and Fudge Drive is missing,” the city said in a Facebook post.

The city is not yet sure what led to the damage happened, but they are investigating the situation.
The city has put up temporary stops signs at the intersection until repairs are made. Beavercreek Police officers and Citizens on Preventive Patrol will be helping direct traffic during peak traffic hours, including school arrival and dismissal times, in the area through Friday.
Beavercreek Police ask drivers to avoid the area if possible.
