BEAVERCREEK — UPDATE @ 1:20 p.m.:
Interstate 675 North has reopened about 1 p.m., Beavercreek Police dispatch reports.

Beavercreek Police and Fire responded to I-675 North just beyond Kemp Road at 2:56 a.m. where they found a semi-truck overturned, police Sgt. Nick Amato confirmed. Officers arriving on scene were able to confirm the overturned semitrailer.
The driver reported minor injuries and was taken to a hospital by medics.

The overturned semi has proven to be difficult to clear.
Officers were expected to block the northbound lanes near Kemp Road for four to six hours to clear the vehicle and any debris. The left lane initially remained open, with the center and right lanes shut down.
All northbound lanes were shut down about 7:20 a.m. so the vehicle could be towed. Traffic was rerouted to U.S. 35 East.
Commuters were asked to stay clear of the region and utilize detours to prevent traffic congestion while emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
The Beavercreek Police Department is the lead investigative unit for the crash.
