HARRISON TWP. — UPDATE @ 8 p.m.
A burnt motor of an air-conditioning unit caused thick smoke to pour from the vents this evening into a Dollar General store.
The store, 5245 N. Dixie Drive, was evacuated but no fire was found.
The Harrison Twp. Fire Department cleared the scene around 7 p.m.

A Dollar General store was evacuated this evening after thick smoke was coming from the air conditioning vents.
The Harrison Twp. Fire Department is on scene checking the building. No flames were showing.

The incident was reported around 6:40 p.m. at the store, 5245 N. Dixie Drive, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
