The reopening of the roadway comes exactly 100 days after it was severely damaged in a fire, a release says.

“Reopening southbound access to this bridge in just over three months is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Governor DeWine. “The closure of these lanes wasn’t only an inconvenience but also a disruption to the supply chain. I applaud our ODOT team and their partners for working hard to finish the project ahead of schedule.”

ODOT along with Great Lakes Construction and multiple sub-contractors assisted in the demolition and repairs of the bridge, ODOT says.

ODOT will announce the exact time the bridge will reopen on social media an hour before it opens, ODOT says.
