According to troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver of the vehicle was traveling north on I-75 when she lost control and crossed the median into the southbound lanes. The car flipped and ended up on its top, which shut down southbound lanes on the interstate near the Miamisburg-Centerville Road exit for an hour while crews handled the crash.

Initial reports indicate the driver was possibly trapped in the vehicle, which prompted CareFlight to be put on standby. The medical helicopter was later canceled.

The woman, whose name was not released, was transported to Kettering Medical Center by ground transportation with non-life threatening injuries.

Speed is possibly a factor in the crash, troopers said. Officials cannot confirm if alcohol or drugs played a part until the investigation concludes.
