DETAILED FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy with showers fading, a stray sprinkle cannot be ruled out.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux says it will be chilly with lows in the upper 30s.

MONDAY: Mostly dry and cloudy throughout the day and chilly.

A little sun could peek through by the afternoon. Highs only in the mid 40s.

TUESDAY: Milder, with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Rain holds off until after sunset and continues overnight. A little breezy. High temperatures climb back to the middle 50s.

WEDNESDAY: Scattered showers and breezy. High temperatures reach the mid to upper 50s early in the day. Temperatures will sharply drop with the passage of the cold front Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday evening. As the colder air crashes in Wednesday evening, we could squeeze out a few snow flakes before the precipitation comes to an end.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers by the afternoon hours. Cool with highs in the lower 50s.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny. Highs near 50.
