Shooting victim shows up at Dayton hospital Christmas night

DAYTON — A shooting victim showed up at Miami Valley Hospital Tuesday night, according to a Dayton police report.

The 34-year-old man, identified as Dale E. Werts Jr. of Dayton, arrived around 9:45 p.m. at the hospital, and staff alerted police.

His condition is not known.

The shooting was in the 600 block of Mia Avenue, according to the police report.

It is not clear whether there are any suspects.
