KETTERING — Students in Kettering are got a special surprise today when Santa Claus delivered them lunch.
Santa opted to leave his sleigh behind and traveled around by bus, delivering lunches and hot chocolate to students. Teachers from the school district filled in as his helpful elves.

While the excitement from the students was enough to melt even the Grinch’s heart, this was just as much of a treat for the teachers who joined him.
“Seeing students at meal stops is everything right now,” said Jenny Britton, Fairmont West Unit Principal.
Santa will continue to deliver lunches to every bus stop in the district this month.
