First business in Dayton’s Fire Blocks District holds opening today

DAYTON — The Salt Block Biscuit Company is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. celebrating the business' opening.

The Salt Block is the first business tenant to open in Dayton’s Fire Blocks District.

Mayor Nan Whaley, Downtown Dayton Partnership President Sandy Gudorf, and the chef/owner of Salt Block Justin Mohler will be in attendance.

The ceremony will be held at 115 E. Third St. in downtown Dayton.

The business will be officially open to customers on Tuesday morning.
