Police arrest suspected Kettering Family Video robber

KETTERING — UPDATE @ 12:50 p.m. (May 7) 

According to Kettering Police the suspect who was arrested is Ronald Kurrek. Kurrek is 37 years old and was arrested on May 4.

Kettering Police report an arrest has been made in regards to the Family Video robbery that occurred on May 4, 2018.  We are working to learn the suspects identity and will update you with any further information.

UPDATE @ 2 p.m.: 

Kettering police have released a description and images of a man who is accused of robbing a Family Video location Thursday afternoon.

The man is described as 5-foot 8-inches tall, medium build, wearing brown shorts, navy-colored hooded sweatshirt, and an orange billed baseball hat, according to a Kettering police spokesman.

FIRST REPORT

Police have responded to reports of a robbery at a Kettering Family Video location Thursday afternoon.

Employees reported the robbery at the business at 930 East Dorothy Lane around 12:35 p.m.

Initial reports indicate a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt robbed the business. It was not immediately known what the robber was able to make off with from the business.
