VANDALIA — A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place today in Vandalia to commemorate White Castle’s recently expanded retail food manufacturing plant.
Among those who will be in attendance will Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted, according to his spokesperson.

It will take place at the 1600 block of Capstone Way at 10:30 a.m.
White Castle embarked on a $27 million construction project in July 2021 to double the size of the facility.
The plant grew from approximately 75,000 square feet to 150,000 square feet.
Husted will be among several officials in attendance today including those from the company, the City of Vandalia, Montgomery County and the City of Dayton.
