Crews have located the body of Jamie Fitzgerald Friday and are in the process of recovering him now, the station reports.

Fitzgerald was the fifth worker who became trapped inside the former Killen Generating Station near Manchester, Ohio December 9. Three of the workers were rescued and hospitalized on the day of the collapse.

The body of Clyde Douglas Gray was located five days after the collapse on Dec. 14.

“The loved ones and immediate family of Jamie Fitzgerald have been notified that he has been located at the Killen Generating Station site in Adams County, Ohio,” a spokesperson for Adamo Demolition Company said in a statement Friday.

“First responders and federal officials have also been notified. Crews from the Adamo Group are currently working to safely recover him. More information will be announced as it becomes available.”

The Detroit-based Adamo Demolition Company was contracted to demolish the plant just days before the collapse. The plant was formerly part of the Dayton Power & Light grid before it was decommissioned.

After Gray’s body was recovered, investigators and rescue crews said the recovery process to locate Fitzgerald’s body would take weeks.
